Angela’s pre BD celebration on last Monday evening at Marina Sq. The cake was meant to be a surprise.
It ended up that Angela surprised us instead. HAHA.
However, at least the BD girl got surprised by the Birthday remix. I like this set of photos taken and LR-ed by Zz. And I printed a couple of the pics using my Ms Selphy. Very nice photos indeed. 
Zz said this pics is supposed to be upside down de… HAHA.. I know. I turned it the other way round in FB coz I like it that way. :p

And I ended up having cold, leftover buffet for my very late lunch.
Thought of running away for a short lunch with the girls but I was busy running up and down. No time.
Because of the training that I’m supporting, I’m working outside the meeting rooms with my lappy. No paperworks and mainly working on some files and replying emails.
Pretty slacking… except that the coffee machine is less than 2 metres away from me.
Very smelly arh. I hope I can put up the ‘out of order’ signage on the machine.
P.s. I became Zz’s junk collector but I’m a happy junk collector! Will reveal it in due course. :p

Went bowling again yesterday night after movie. I almost almost almost hit my high score.
I want more of such secret trainings!
I admit I’m not a gathering person. I dun like the idea of meeting up once/ twice a year. That’s why Hao-ge was a little upset with me the other time.
Went for a poly gathering session. Okie. I admit I was contemplating whether I should go or not. Decided to go since Meihua and Szhi were going. The dinner went pretty fine though I think I was a little too quiet compared to the past.
A pity Nini was unable to join.
Orh! The dinner cost S$25! :s I only had a few prawns, fish balls, mushrooms, hotdogs, crab sticks… This steamboat outlet is really… exp. :s
Everyone was in and out of r/s except for Rebecca (hers still going strong), Nini and Meihua (both still single). HAHA… :p
Missed out a dinner with Nini, Meihua and Szhi the other day. Reason being, I’m down with a headache and dun really want to wait.

I think I have no luck working with my current company. I didn’t win anything for 2 consecutive years!
Left my phone at home again. Been having this headache for a couple of days and it doesn’t get any better. Napped for a while before getting ready. Put on a couple of accessories that I borrowed from Angela and Mei Mei kept following me round the house and asked me if I can get a similar ones for her. :s
Papa offered to drop me off at the station so I can save 15 mins from walking. Before I left the house, I asked Mei Mei if I have forgotten anything.
She said No. I took her words.
In the end, everyone asked why they couldn’t reach me and stuff. Some were like, “Huh? U forgot your phone again?”.
Got a free ride home from Alfred Kor Kor. Before that I was trying to convince myself not to cab, not to cab, not to cab.

I came across this article and realised that the sunflowers are part of Dover Park Hospice Fund raising project.
So just before lunch, I popped by and bought 1 sunflower. I gave this student S$X for a supposedly S$5 sunflower.
The amount is really little… It’s cost about 4 bowling sessions, say 4 games each.
But I hope this amount will at least help 1 family in a way or another. Just like how others help my father to relieve a little burden.

I felt irritated when the pantry aunty came to me and asked, “Xiao Jie. Free one arh? Go where and take?”
When Roi quietly sat down next to me yesterday while I was stoning outside after the media roundtable session ended, I got a shock.
And he asked why he’s seeing me more frequently now apart from his trips to my office.
This morning, I noticed my name in the list of a council meeting to be held a few months later.
I scrolled down the list.. and found that most ppl who are going for the meeting are either managerial positions or PA to country heads.
I’m happy that I’m given such chance by my boss and managers.
But at the same time, I wonder if I’m up to it.
Though I still need to get approval from the heads for this travel, I’m glad my boss and manager consider bringing me along and that I’m given such opportunity to meet more people ard the region.
and asked myself if I’m having headache/ stomachache or fever.
And I questioned myself if I can be on medical leave.
Then it came upon to me that… Even if I’m sick, I cannot afford to take MC. Not for today, tomorrow, next Mon – Tues and next Thurs.
And when Dec comes, I will need to prepare for Jan.

Time flies… This coming Sunday marks the 1st month.
In the midst of working, I received a sametime message from a fellow colleague in India. He will be coming over to SG for a training cum meeting. Provided him the hotel information and directions.
(colleague)… Thanks for the info.
(colleague)… Umm, my friends will go to SG during my training and they’ll live in Hotel 81 Orchid, is it close to me?
(colleague)… it’s address is 21 Lorong 8 Geylang.
I paused for a while. Think for a while before answering. I cannot be too honest coz afterall it’s their first time in SG. So I think I answered in the most diplomatic way. :s
We are going to the ZOO this Fri! Roi’s sponsoring Wii!!! He asked me if it’s good to sponsor Wii. Of course! Coz I dun have a wii at home. :p
Hope I won’t go home empty-handed. Just like last yr.
