Woke up at 6am during this day. 1st half of the day was spent with Nini. We decided not to hire the coach and venture out on our own. Breakfast first at a small small shop nearby the hotel.

Ya. We rushed up to the bus when we saw the bus were pretty empty and seemed that everyone only want to sit down. When we up on the bus, we realised the whole journey would take app an hr to reach the University first then up to our destination. But being experienced with the daily train ride in S’pore, an hr was alright. There wasn’t much traffic and we stood for abt 40mins before the majority alighted at the university.

The air was pretty cooling. I like. :)

We wanted to go to our 1st stop – Yang Ming Shan Gong Yuan first. But we got distracted by ‘Scenery Platform’ and decided to give it a try (a climb). The stairs seem to be never ending and super steep! We were sweating despite the cooling whether. Upon reaching, we noticed there’s NOTHING. NO scenery AT ALL. The trees BLOCKED everything. :s We regretted the moment we were up there. HAHA.

There’s quite a lot of similar signages around the park. So it’s pretty easy for us to find the way. I mean, easy for Nini to lead me the way. HAHA. :p

Stopped by the information counter and asked some questions. These rubber stamps reminded me about the show, 爱情魔法师.

There’s several small parks for you to explore within YMS. As both nini and I only had a pathetic morning – afternoon to spare for this trip, we managed to explore 2 parks.

The HUGE flower clock! A group of local elderly showed us the direction. *shy* And told us it’s a must-see place in YMS.

Nini’s suggestion to eat ice cream in the cool and windy weather. My hair was stuck onto the ice cream loh. :s But still, yummy. Haha

This small bus stop was just outside the locals’ house. 1 uncle asked where were we going. He told us we waited at the correct bus stop. When we saw the bus coming from our right, we quickly flagged the bus. The bus driver actually stopped for us and asked where we were going. And that’s why we realised we flagged the wrong bus.

In TW, vehicles come from your left. Not right. :s

Then the uncle came out and said, 我不是跟你们说在这等吗?So we explained we are from S’pore and we are soooo used to looking to our right for vehicles. The uncle was pretty helpful. :)

Took the small cosy bus to another park! I like this park a lot! Thanks to the hotel receptionist for the recommendation. She highlighted this park for us! :) It’s 竹子湖。

The area was HUGE. I feel like changing occupation, build a small house and farm down there! Everything looks sooooo peaceful! No stress about work, no stress about colleague, no stress about money etc etc etc.. I’m seriously in love with such a place. Really.

There’s wasn’t visitors ard. I think there’s only 2 ladies that we saw. The whole area seemed to belong to us only. No one approached us. No one stopped us when we climbed into a restricted area. Just Nini and I! I had a lot of fun.

Because no one was around plus no tripod, it’s pretty hard to take pics of 2 of us. We put my camera on a wooded stick, set timer and ran to the small bridge. But… I set the wrong settings. Haha.. Thus, the above. :p

Braved the risk of having my camera being blown away by the super strongggg wing. :)

The restricted area that we climbed into and up. It’s so pretty to see the park from the tall place!

Some flowers that we saw throughout the journey. Pretty right?

I feel bu she de to leave such a beautiful place. :( But we had to. Before that, we decided to lunch down there! :)

Free flow of rice, drinks and sweet potato soup! They were super friendly! They told us to eat as much as we can. And that they still had 1 big pot of sweet potato soup for us. Argh… Singapore? Some charged you for iced water too. :s

The place we had lunch. When they were informed that we need to 下山, they told us to take a seat first. They stopped the small bus for us even though no bus stop was infront of the shop. :)

Back to the bustling city.
